Product Review: A missed opportunity - so far.
There is a real demand for a strong safari style bag, made of high quality canvas & leather.The Sahara Raider bag used to fill this bill, but the replacement I bought recently is nowhere near so robust as the original item. M&S are now selling a similar bag,slightly bigger & cheaper,but the canvas is thicker on Rogue's bag & the M&S bag uses plastic "leather".

Rogue's bag should therefore have been a winner, with its quality canvas finish,real leather & brass accessories. What a shame it's been let down by a useless strap, which needs to be fully extended to be useable at all. Even then, with the strap fully extended (to 100cms max), the bag rests only above the hip when empty.The strap needs to be much longer (to at least 125mm long)to let it rest comfortably at hip level, especially with travel items in it. The fact that the standard strap supplied is also the wrong colour - olive rather than sand for this bag - simply lets it down further.
